Alternative Energy

Alternative energy simply refers to the source alternate to the fossil fuel and is intended to address the problem caused by the use of the fossil fuel which is one of the main reason for the carbon emission which in turn is one of the cause behind global warming. The excess use of the fossil fuel could have serious effect in the environment and the whole planet earth’s ecosystem could be disrupted. Fossil fuel is non renewable.
Some of the common alternate energy sources are solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, biomass energy, bio-fuel and ethanol etc. Among these energy sources, solar energy is getting widely popular and is renewable as well.
These days numerous organizations within the academic, federal, and commercial sectors conducting large scale advanced research in the field of alternative energy and there have been many different lead to their research. Algae fuel, biological hydrogen production, bio mass digestion has been gaining popularity.
